Program Highlights
Sullivan County Community Hospital embodies Infant and Maternal Mortality support by funding expansive RN training and critical infant and maternal health supplies, including curriculum, breast pumps, care seats, diaper bags, diapers, and wipes. This funding enables increased community exposure to resources and certifications for healthcare workers.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provided funding to help reduce the burden of the COVID-19 pandemic among racial and ethnic populations that were disproportionately affected. The resulting gran program, Together We Will, invested over $5 million from 2021-2023 in community initiatives that address health inequities for disparate and marginalized populations of color and indigenous people.
